Uragami Gyokudo Uragami Gyokudo (1745 - 1820) was a Japanese musician, painter, poet and calligrapher. He was born as a descendant of the famous feudal lord of the Warring States period. When he was fifty years old, he abandoned bushi (warrior) and roamed about the whole country. Getting old, he lived in Kyoto as a literati painting man. |
