Kochi_Castle
Kochi Castle is a symbol of our city. The whole castle was constructed in 1611 by Yamanouchi Kazutoyo. Original castle was burned to the ground in 1727. The current castle was reconstructed in 1753. The castle underwent major restoration from 1948 to 1959. In spring, many people enjoy the cherry blossom festival at this area.
