Katsurahama

Katsurahama is the famous beach by the following several reasons.

1.This beach is very beautiful. So this place has been loved by the people in Kochi for a long time.

2.In this place, there is the memorial statue of Sakamoto Ryoma. He was born in Kochi and made a great contribution to realizing the Meiji Restoration (1868). However, he was assassinated at 34 years old, without seeing the Meiji Restoration.

3.There is an unique aquarium. We can see the various rare life of the sea off Kochi.
